Rewards are great on one hand........criminals will often turn in their friends for the money.........on the other hand.....people will try to get rewards when they don't know shit......so the police have to investigate all these calls taken precious time from solving the crime.......
If you knew anything would you accept the reward or just do it out of compassion?
It wouldn't take a reward for me to come forward with information to help solve a crime........but if they were offering a reward I would probably take it........but its not what would influence me into giving the information I had..........just being honest..........
What would it take for you to turn a friend in..... or would you ever?
Would it depend on the crime..... the reward... how close you were? It would depend on the crime.........I mean there are some laws that are just stupid or at least not that important.........so no I wouldn't turn a friend in..........this is a hard one to answer............I wouldn't have a friend who molested children......and if I found out one of my friends did........i would be the first to report them..........If I found out that I had a friend who abused their children or spouse........again I would turn them in..............but for the most part if it was a victimless crime.........I imagine that I wouldn't turn them in.........but I also wouldn't lie for them or be their alibi........
