	JUSTICE would be the boyfriend getting beaten to death by that baby's father! I have to disagree. Since when did violence ever solve more violence. Eye-for-an-eye has not worked since the time of the Old Testament, what makes anyone think it will start now? Sadly, there is no true justice. It really doesn't provide justice for me if I receive a hundred million dollars settlement from the accident I was in. How does that help me get my old brain back? My old spine? And nothing will bring back the life of that child. What needs to be done is not another act of violence. Or one of "confinement" putting the two miscreants away forever. What needs to be done is a thorough investigation that indicates why this happened in the first place, and a follow-through of fixing it so it doesn't happen again.

	I stand corrected B9... first impulse reaction. If it were my kid though, I'd have killed that bastard, unlike the stupid little bitch that sat back and allowed it to happen! But you are right in what you said!

	Ok, don't underestimate the power of passion. That's what I would feel as well. I have fought very hard for children that were in similar situations (remember my profession, after all!) But I have often had to restrain myself and be much more conservative when what I wanted to do on impulse was the unthinkable. You can't merely harm another human being and kidnap a child for their own safety...even if it's perceptibly the "right" thing to do. Yet I will also state it is likely the other statement is true as well. It's very likely that there were people who were observers in all of this and opted to do nothing.
