Sorry to perhaps hijack this blog, but there is that old stereotype of guys forgetting about them and it not meaning nearly so much to men as women.
My dad is the exception, especially getting and sending a birthday card. That is a major factor in my brother being cut out of his will. I remember once my brother scraping up money to buy my mom a birthday present but not having enough money for a card to go with it. The old man was pissed. That was one of the few, if not the only time, I felt sorry for Tommy.

Happy Birthday I don't usually mention by birthday to people. LOL At 56 I am too sure I even want to remember I am a year older. I realized after looking at pictures of my birthday for the last couple of years that the cakes both times had 56 on them. This year I think I had better people how old I am so they don't make me a year older again.

Oh honey I am so sorry............Wed I remembered it was your birthday and was going to post a blog about it......but I left at 3a to make a trip to the cities so my granddaughter could see a specialist and didn't get home until later afternoon and I was sick and in so much pain I just forgot I was going to do it...........
