I heard this song a few mins ago....! Yeah, It got me to thinking again!! This is a bad year (Here) for Ticks...I am very lucky to go outdoors without getting at least one on me!!
Lyme's Disease is very real!!!! My thoughts and Prayers are for those that have/had it!!!
I have picked them off of my Legs....Head, Chest..dang near every part of my Body!!! Back when I was little I would even gettem on my Pee-Pee !!!
Ladies...have you ever had a tick on your Kitty?
Where's the Oddest Place on your body that you have had to Pull a Tick off of?

Except for my Pee-Pee.....I pulled one off of my Chest...right below my Nipple!!!

How do you Remove a Tick? I know some ppl use a lit match, others use K-Y jelly, I just pullem off! I wonder what the Correct way is?

They are always bad down here in NC as well. I have picked them mostly off my neck or my arms. I did have one to attach himself to my butt one time.

Chiggers are just as bad but easier to deal with.

Shit, I would rather have a tick than CHIGGERS! I had them all over my ass one time. Got them from sitting in a wooded area when I was on a trip. My Mom had to cater to my ass the whole trip home. All 16 hours of it was her putting fingernail polish on hundreds of bites on my ass. ...but yep...I think I found a tick on my kitty one time after I had been camping.

Lyme Disease is a horrible disease........and you don't have to have actually seen them and pulled them off..........they can come off in the shower or bath and you may never know this........I got lyme.......it was misdiagnosed and untreated for a year and a half.........and I have now developed a auto immune disease that gives me chronic pain and chronic fatigue just to mention two of the side effects.................I caution anyone who starts feeling like shit to get checked for lyme........and if the doctor tells you that Lyme is not a problem in your state.........tell him to run the test anyway............I was in ohio when I got it............and it was discovered after I moved back to Minnesota.........

sorry OHT didnt mean to take over your blog with a spiel about lyme but I can't caution people enough to get checked for it.........

Get a candle lit, stick a pin in the flame and stick it in the blood
sac or up their ass if no sac has formed..
Time consuming, but those little buggers(no pun intended) will back right up..

We usually have a big flea problem here in Ohio this time of year.

Hey Straddle...you won't have a flea problem if you use a good quality flea prevention on your pets. Don't purchase any from your pet store, get it from your vet. It kills fleas and destroys there reproductivity. It is a monthly application for each pet. I always use it and never have a problem. My little girl doesn't need to itch all season. Make your pets happy, not ithchy!
