" But then I thinked back at me.. "Skwirl.. shut up." And then we got in an argument and it all went pear shaped. We ended up with our tail in our mouth and screaming at the top of our lungs cuz it hurted. So we let go.
While doing some spring cleaning around the house the other day, I ran across some tulip bulbs I had bought last year and never planted. I was wondering if I could plant them right now. Maybe I'll give it a try today...see what happens.
My Dad was over yesterday to help me cut some tree branches and to snip off some trees that are trying to grow by the foundation of the house. They're "little sprouts" from my big tree in the backyard...a catatulpa (spelling?) so I've been told. I love this tree....it's leaves are HUGE..makes a great shade tree, and for a brief time, it has these white flowers on it, they blow off easy when windy. First year at this house, I remember waking up one morning, looking outside seeing white on the ground and thinking there was no way it was snow since it was warm and my windows were open. Turns out it was the flowers from this tree. Only 2 draw backs with this tree...it's pods and the fact it can grow like a weed! Every Spring, I have to catch new offspring from this thing.  If I had a big lot, I wouldn't mind a few more of these trees..but, being in the city...one is plenty.
Well...off to doing other stuff..and then back out sided to do more yard work.
