Is enough to frustrate some. Ok...I'm talking about me.  It's like a temperature "roller coaster" here. Just last week, we had temps getting into the lower 80's...tomorrows day time high? Freakin 48!!!!!!!   It's confusing my furnace!!!!  Only got up to 59 today. I know, I shouldn't be complaining...there are some who are still seeing snow. yuk!! And I truly feel bad for them. 
We go from one day where people can wear shorts, and the next day, break out the winter coats.  On the plus side...at least the furnace isn't running every day. And I'd rather have rain than snow. But..I also want to open windows. And bring my bird home. He "migrates" over to my parents during the winter months. They keep their thermostat on 70 all winter...I keep mine lower (65 while I'm home and up and about, 58 when I go to work or go to bed) So...I want to get my bird, and it's still not staying warm enough. Oh yeah...my bird, he's cool. He likes car rides. He will whistle "Pop Goes the Weasel", the Andy Griffith theme song, and, once in a while, he will throw in a wolf whistle. He is a cockatiel, and yes, he is definitely male. If the bright color didn't prove that...let's just say his hormones take over and he has proven he's male. My Mom had thrown an empty toilet paper roll in his cage back when I first got him because he likes to push things around, mock fight with it etc...and one day we discovered....he was humping the thing! Yeah...he's a goofy bird.
So...anyway...just waiting here for the weather to straighten itself out so I can bring my bird home.

Well, these are the days around here you want to bottle for future use; high seventies low eighties and gorgeous. This year is especially tasty, little humidity and no tornado watches or warnings....yet. I am not complaining about having to mow the lawn twice a week at all! It is gorgeous here!

The weather is great here! We did have a cold start Saturday morning (34 here) But it's supposed to be in the 70's the whole week! 
I got out and planted some impatiens, rubrum grasses and dahlias!!! It's gonna be soooooooooo pretty!

Its been really nice here..........ranging between 65 and 70.....we got the first rain that we have had in weeks..............I love it when its cool like this would like it to stay this way all the time.........it counteracts my hot flashes LOL
You got a horny bird huh? sounds to me like you need a female to go with the male................at least someone will be getting a little..............

no no no no no no no no no!!!!!! Good grief...I got my dog a "companion" cause I thought he was lonely at work! Now instead of two dogs..I've got 5! Don't want or need more birds!
