I'm finding some men can't take rejection. If you let them know, and I try to in the nicest possible way, that you are not interested in their proposal, they will get very mean and insulting, after telling you that you're the greatest thing since sliced bread! Do they think we are obligated or desperate, because we are on this site? NEWSFLASH: You got farther than most people if I talked to you on the phone, or took a chance to meet you! Whatever crumb I throw you doesn't obligate me to throw another. And YOU have the same option!!! So, don't try to play the playa.  Respect that it has to be a mutual choice!

You are correct in what you say and if you politely decline a proposal you should not be treated rudely since by doing that you show you have more maners than most women I've sent messages to on this site. I for one, after taking the time to compose an introduction would appreciate some sort of reply, even if it's just a quick no thank you. But the reality is, and I'm confident other men on this site would agree, that 9 times out of 10 we don't even get a no thank you. I realize the women get way more messages then do we men, but c'mon you women could least acknowledge the effort by sending a quick no thanks.

Being online in this new world of dating has become more of a licence to do, say, and be whatever you wantt to appear as,,,as well as be as vulgar as you care to be upon dismissal by the other party as it is much easier to duck a well deserved slap from behind a screen...

I agree with you totally yourfacefits some men can't handle the rejection,there are plenty of fish in the sea after all,right? Or maybe they are just really pissed because they missed a chance to see what you have in that pic in person,lol. I would be dissappointed but I wouldn't resort to being rude etc,especially if you were being nice to me and told me you weren't interested...some people can't take no for an answer. Have a good one

Rejection...don't tell me about rejection. I've contacted about 30 people on the alt.com messenger thingy and I have had all but 2 requests declined. Maybe its my profile or something. I'd like to ask, but I don't bother. They said no and I'll respect that. Don't just us all by the actions of a few.
