Yes, another one of those mindless, pointless, trivial blogs that people seem to enjoy. We all prefer fresh vegis, but where do we stand on frozen versus canned?

For myself:

Corn...it doesn't matter

Green beans...canned

Peas...frozen

Spinach...it doesn't matter

BTW, why isn't there such a thing as canned broccoli? I buy it fresh as I like it and it is the only vegie I frequently find fresh at a reasonable price.

I buy frozen unless it is yams then I buy them in the can. I just think the frozen taste better for some reason. And has less sodium in it if you are careful what brand you buy.

I like my veggies canned. Not too big on the frozen.

BTW, why isn't there such a thing as canned broccoli?

Maybe because it gets mushy if it's canned?

Corn..I love fresh, I love frozen almost as much, and I love canned just barely behind the other two.............oh yea i love corn........and will eat it anyway I can get it.......

Green beans...I like them fresh, frozen...........and canned if they are french cut............I will eat the reg cut but french is more to my liking.

Peas...Fresh, Frozen and than canned

Spinach...it doesn't matter as long as there is lots of it.

Broccoli....fresh and frozen......and you're right they don't do it in frozen

Cauliflower....fresh and frozen...... they don't can this either

Asparagus....fresh, canned frozen........

OK do you get the idea I love vegetables...........would prefer fresh but will take it frozen or canned.............

People like them Bruce, because they get to talk about what they themselves like without any chance of anyone jumping on them for liking it or not liking it...........and they are fun.........now I may go to my grave some day and not remember that you like corn...........but for now........I know it.............

Limas!!! YUM!!! love the frozen ones!!!

Field peas with snaps.... there used to be a brand called Texas Fair that I absolutely loved!! Bruce, you live in Texas! Can you find some and send them to me? If not, then Trappey's will work!! But they are expensive!!!!!!!!

Broccoli... just raw and fresh!!!! not cooked.. ick!!

Spinach.. see above!!!! I like to use spinach on my burgers, tacos and BLT's.. I'm not big on iceburg lettuce.

The list goes on!!!!!!

a dash of Roostershit sauce, (I can't pronounce Worchestershire,)
Sea salt, pepper and a nice crisp stick of celery

the only veggies I prefer canned are green beans. Frozen just lacks something in the texture department for me.. everything else, if I can't have it right off the proverbial vine.. frozen is as close as I can get.
