So he posts some off the wall stuff...he generates a lot of discussion which, in turn, has helped to make this place an open community. dulsinea, my dear - you can't win this one. What you did - at least, how you did it, was wrong. To come into a discussion you've not been a part of and call someone a name is wrong no matter who you are or how you look at it. I'm not saying you can't think or even say it - but if you wanted to state that opinion, there was a better way to do it. And better words to use. When someone comes into a discussion and posts something like you did, we tend to see that person as being a "troll", which isn't a very welcomed sort of person around here. Oh, you're not the first - and you won't be the last. And it's not that this community doesn't tolerate varying opinions (though opinions on that will vary - right bentan? *wink*), but we don't very well tolerate people being mean just for the sake of being mean...and that's what it appears you are doing. To me, anyway.
From what I've seen, you've been given chance after chance to rectify this and still be welcomed. I fear that you've blown this chance (well, except with wtxman - but he's kind of weird like that, anyway :) You don't have to back down or change your opinion, but I do think a genuine apology - that being, one that isn't followed by another insult - is in order.
I once had a disagreement with a man here. Oh, and it got ugly. I dropped it and he did as well, and later we both made a concession that ended that battle. Now I genuinely like this man - respect him, too - and I'm so glad things have worked out like this. I guess what I'm saying is, don't let this go so far that you can't "come back"...we are a fantastic community.

Straddle has merely posted a blog asking if anyone would let a woman with skidmark stained panties sit on their face. Whether we find this gross or disgusting is fair enough but in no way is Straddle a pig, nor is he rude.
Just because you disagree with some one doesn't mean you have to start calling them names. If I get sniped at now because I am defending some one I consider to be a friend as well as a decent guy then so be it, I have a thick skin.
Dulsinea, you are an attractive woman and I agree that women should be spoken to with respect and dignity and I don't think you are a man basher either. I think people seem to be getting upset over a rather innocuous question and the only reason I haven't commented before now is because I didn't have anything to say.
To answer Straddles question though, I wouldn't let a woman with skidmark stained panties straddle my face but then that's my personal preference. We all have our own unique likes and dislikes so why do we allow ourselves to become upset over something so trivial. If you have to comment at least try to be nice about it.

First of all, Dulsinea...as has been said numerous times on this blog and in other areas of this site: If you don't like the content...DON'T READ IT!! Straddle posts these types of blogs (and please correct me if I'm wrong here) to promote discussion and/or debate on subjects that cause controversy. As you can plainly see by the amount of comments on his blogs, both positive and negative, they are very popular.
Secondly...I can't see why someone who is as intelligent and articulate as you seem to be would want to connect herself with an obvious troll. The person who you jumped on the bandwagon with has been going to blogs and posting comments that are intended to incite anger and gain attention for himself. I'm not accusing you personally of doing that...merely pointing out that the one person you "are not alone" with is.
And finally...these are meant to be 'adult' discussions. Name calling is never acceptable in any forum or venue. If you disagree..fine. Just say so and be done with it. Your continued remarks to this blog are showing that A: You keep coming back to it, so there must be some interest in the subject even if it is negative; and B: You can't seem to take the heat either, and are determined to get the last word in.
There are better ways to get your point across without resorting to insulting behavior. And if you find the subject matter itself insulting, remember; it's nothing personal. Just like television...if you don't like it, change the channel. No one is forcing you to read this...Hell, I didn't read the blog until today! Sometimes you just never know what my friend Straddle will come up with next!

Dulsinea, how is he a "pig" for posting his thoughts on a subject? Like it's been said before if you read a heading for a blog and don't feel the content is going to appeal to you, skip it. Nobody put a gun to your head and made you read this or any of Straddle's other blogs. If you don't like his writing style, or the subjects he picks to write about, don't read them.
Personally I do know Straddle on and off this site, i've talked with him on the phone, and consider him to be one of the most polite men i've had the pleasure of talking to. He doesn't try to offend anyone, nor does he take offense when someone doesn't like his content. Name calling is completely inappropriate, in any way, shape or form.
I have to admit that some of the topics you come up with are a little strange, however they are always thought provoking, and meant to be in fun. You keep doing what you do, and i'll keep reading, and commenting.

We have a bit of an on going saga here. Okay, you may not think everything you read is in good taste, or even humorous, hit the back page key and move the fuck along. I personally despise Andrew Dice Clay, I won’t protest his comedy shows however, he has a right to his humor, as does Straddle. I don’t post kudos, or admit how freaking hilarious he is often enough, largely because, I could so easily take the humor down further and alienate myself, I mean imagine taking a comb to get the crusties out of taint hair…
