Here are some provisions of the top contenders: Hoyer-Larson Bill: All 45 million uninsured Americans would be guaranteed medical care, all of it provided by Dr. Tom Janicak of Houston, TX Melancon-Cooper Bill: Would create a low-cost government-administered health insurance plan, but would prohibit anyone from buying into it Griffith-Cantor Bill: Low-income families would be allowed to huddle outside hospital windows in the cold and look at wealthier families receiving care Hutchinson-Snowe Bill: Children insured on a cuteness scale Murray-Menendez Bill: Doctors only allowed to mention giving birth as a viable alternative after providing counseling on the many different ways one can have an abortion. Luetkemeyer-Fortenberry Bill: They just liked the way their names looked together, and this seemed like the most high-profile opportunity to put it out there Grayson Bill: Rep. 	Don't know about someone from Houston ... Remember Enron. Seriously I haven't had health benefits in over three years so it really doesn't matter to me. Grayson Bill: Rep. Alan Grayson will personally punch in the face any insurance executive who turns down a valid claim Love the attitude but it will never happen. Hoyer-Larson Bill: All 45 million uninsured Americans would be guaranteed medical care, all of it provided by Dr. Tom Janicak of Houston, TX Sounds good but will never happen. They might as well promise everyone a rose garden.

	Why don't they just revamp what has been in existence for decades already? Medicare and Medicade! Expand medicade to include the people that don't have health insurance! How to pay for it? Go through both systems with a fine toothed comb! Get rid of the fraud, inefficiencies, the fuck-offs and keep the politician's paws out of it- privatize it if necessary- with a watch-dog group, made up of various professionals in the medical fields to include professional accountants, whether it's government run or privatized! Then have everyone that can afford a reasonable fee, including citizens, businesses and yes, the politicians themselves, all pay into a pool- can be done through the IRS during tax season- one payment annually! No changes in medical practices need change- no research needs to change- doctor's pay need not change- increase their income if necessary for quality performance! With premiums paid by everyone and the fraud and inefficiencies greatly reduced or eliminated- it can pay for itself IMO, with no 3 or 4 trillion dollar budget! All this was put together by certain unions and special interest groups- there's your fraud added to the fraud that already exists! Certainly the politicians didn't put this reform bill together- they don't even know what the fuck is in the bill as is the case of most other people, including myself! This whole thing is a power grab nothing more, nothing less! Having said all that, I do know that the unions involved are pitching up a storm now for not getting whatever was promised to them- so there's that! Not to mention that the administration refuses to take a hint in that the majority of the citizens in this country, simply don't want this reform shoved down their throats- or any other reform for that matter! Do it right, inform the masses and be upfront about it and let the people decide what they feel is proper! JMO
