Yep, Spring is almost here.   I know, there is a couple here who like the snow and winter, and......................you can have it!  I'll take the warmth of Spring, and watching nature spring to life. I'm done with the "closed in" feeling of winter. I'm ready for the grass to grow (yeah, I know, that means mowing the lawn, but, as I've said before, I'd rather do that than shovel snow), the flowers to bloom, to hear the birds singing.......OMG, this sounds like a sappy novel or something. 
I got impatient the other day and took the plastic covering off all my windows. It's been in the upper 30's to mid 40's lately. I know, it's technically still winter, and in Michigan, we can still get clobbered with cold and snow, but, it doesn't last long. It's going to be so nice to open up the windows and air out the staleness of winter. Cause I don't care how clean ya keep your dogs.....there is still that "doggy" smell in a closed up house. These dogs are so lucky I don't buy into the "buy a dog house and leave them outside" way of life. Just something I don't agree with. Spoiled rotten brats.
Yep, Spring is almost here, road work is already started. Here in Saginaw, one of our main arteries, I-675 north is closed for work. They say it will be closed until December.  That really sucks too, I normally take that way home after work. I hate driving through town...don't know about the rest of the country, but here in Saginaw, some people are just STUPID. I counted 4 times I had to slam on my brakes yesterday in the course of 3 blocks because of dummies who speed up to get in front of you, just to make that right turn. And really, all they had to do was slow down a little, get behind my van, and then make their turn because there were no other vehicles behind me. That's why I like the expressway.....got 2 to 3, in some cases even 4, lanes to use...and most of the speeders are in the far left lane...  But get in town, and you can be going 40mph in a 30 zone, and still get some dumb ass on your bumper.
Ok...I've gone from celebrating Spring to bitchin about dummy drivers. I think I'll draw this one to a close now.
