Do you play your State's Lottery(if your state has it}, such as powerball, lotto, scratch off tickets? If so, how much do you spend on it per week? Has anyone had any big wins? I spend maybe about $5.00 a week. Couple of months ago did win $300.00 on a $1.00 scratch ticket. Biggest win I ever had.

I use to play it a lot......well every week but only a couple of bucks.........but right now with the way the economy is.........I cant afford that couple of bucks on a chance.

I play a time or two a week. Never spend very much on the tickets. I have one a couple hundred a few times. Nothing any bigger than that though. It is just for fun anyway and the money goes to the schools here in NC. If I actually won the jackpot part of it would probably have to go for the er where I would end up after I passed out from shock.

Lottery money goes to schools and other things here in IA too. If we did not have the lottery and casinos I think our taxes would be higher than they are now.

On occasion, when I remember to buy tickets or spend a couple bucks for the lottery! Money was supposed to go to the schools too and used to- at least that's how it was promoted in the 70s, to get the lottery system voted in! Yet... the schools are still screaming for money! A few years later, after the lottery was voted in, MI switched the lotto funds into the state's general fund! That way, the politicians could get their hands on it! Just another scam for more money to spend foolishly!
