 What are some of the tv shows that you really enjoy watching with your s/o? Is there a basic theme as far whether the show is a drama, comedy, action, suspense, mystery, or a romance that you enjoy watching more with your sweetie than anything else?

If you were in a relationship, what are some of the shows that you would enjoy watching with your sweetie?
I enjoying watching Cold Case and some comedies, a little drama, some reality tv, and a mixture of some other things. So I have a wide range theme that I enjoy.

I don't have a s/o but whatever shows we could both agree on. (Maybe a movie or something) Otherwise there is a good reason to have two different televisions in the house if you are in a relationship. Just saves the hassle of finding something that both of you like all the time.

When I get one, I'd assume he'd be okay with The Golden Girls first and foremost followed by most Food Network programming, Comedy Central and some stuff on Cartoon Network's late night schedule.

Ok, gonna go back a few years here. When Mick was around, he was a sci fi person and he LOVED Babylon5, and I got into that series too, along with other shows on Sci Fi like Highlander, The Sentinel, The Outer Limits, and, my favorite, and I was really bummed when they stopped filming it, Farscape.
Today, I like to watch FBI Files, The Bureau, and a few other programs on Investigation Discovery. And yes, I like my soaps,  so I watch Soap Net at night sometimes, usually to catch up on General Hospital.

Well i have kinda starting watching the shows he likes, like office, survivor, amazing race........Private practice, cold case, Brothers and sisters..........and he has started watching weekly Project Runway and Models of the Runway with me.........Otherwise we watch movies and we are really compatible on what kind of movies we like........

When I was married and we had time to watch tv it was anything scifi or law and order type of shows, and comedy such as sinefield and one show that was about a town in Alaska. Now I am single and I watch what ever the fuck I want to...and it is the same type of shows.  ...hmmmm...my fav we watched together was homicide and Xfiles.

Having a girlfriend with a genuine interest in football and baseball would be nice if she had a good understanding of the game. I only had one girlfriend that fit that bill.

Sometimes that interest has to be that the S/O wants to share your interests and at least tries it...........I am a baseball fan........always have been............so my honey lucked out with that one............but football was never of interest to me.........but I gave it a try this past season..........although R had to explain the game to me.......I think I have finally caught the drift of it and now enjoy watching it...........but if it wasn't for R........I would never have even tried it.............just like he watches Project Runway with me.........how many men are really that interested in a group of clothes designers competing against each other..........most of the men are gay and the women are so damn competitive that they are bitches..........but he watches it with me and knows what is going on............of course the payback on that is ........we than watch Models of the Runway........and what man isn't interested in watching a bunch of hot women in skimpy clothes and the drama that circulates them cause they want to be better than everyone else..............
