There is but one and only one reasonig for this somewhat deastic statement/opinion, and that reason is this;
If you truely love someone, I really don't think you need a fucking reminder from Hallmark and whoever makes those boxes of "Gamble Chocolates" to let them know. It's just commen sense really.
That's all I wanted to get out there.
Happy normal, average, plain old butt-fuck sunday.
EDIT: Does anyone else find this 36-Hour waiting period for uploading photos irritating?

Consider me one who never, ever put a dime in their pockets as long as I've been in existence.
Yup.
Being without someone saves you money.

A little tongue and cheek attempted humor in some prose I personally wrote:
A Romantic Valentine's Day Poem by WoW
In loving you My heart is so beaten
A trail of tears Was all my love was worth
You are the weed In the Garden of Eden
And the pimple On the face of the earth

I don't think there is anything wrong with this special day. What I often find is people are usually so down on celebrating Valentines Day when they don't have anyone to share it with. I have always loved this holiday, and the fact that it's also in the same month as my birthday makes it even better. True, couples should treat each day like it's Valentines Day with each other. Valentines Day is also a holiday that really makes you reflect and focus on love, regardless if businesses are trying to make a quick buck off of it. What's so bad about that? In the end, there's nothing like having that special Valentine to share your life with.

People do not have to go the Hallmark route for the day. Sometimes a romantic gesture is appreciated more than a card picked out in 5 minutes in a store or a box of candy that the person really does not need to be eating.

You're hilarious and you have a point. I think my man gets me more on other days than v-day now that I think about it.
I guess it's just something for people to show that they appreciate each other. I think of it more like a romance day? I just want to be treated nice. Don't care for the presents XD

I couldn't agree with you more My husband and I didn't buy each other anything....I don't want flowers or candy or a card and vice versa....not necessary. I have a friend who was hell bent on her boyfriend getting her flowers and said she would be mad if he didn't. Pretty damn selfish thinking if you ask me.
