Now this is something that may surprise a few of you, but I am a HUGE videogame nerd. Ever since I played my fist game (megaman) I was instantly hooked and knew that would forever be a passion of mine. Now I've heard the standard "You're an adult for god's sake! Those games are for children!" but I politefully disagree. I believe that videogames can easily be considared an artform that takes talent, dedication and knowlage. This is the most abundantly clear in the music.

Now this is just me, but I find that most videogame music is better than about, oh say, 92% of what's playing on the radio now-uh-days. To prove this, I would like to share a few tracks from various games that I find truely memorable and brillianly catchy. Enjoy and prepare to feel.

This post pleases me.

At one time I had an NES, SNES, and N64 (but not all at once). I remember the SNES the most, which from one of your links I'm listening to the music from DKC 2. I never played Super Street Fighter 2, but I am nostalgia'ing *hard* right now. I was either Chun Li or E. Honda,lol. Oh and musicwise, I love the music for Rainbow Road from MarioKart 64.

I miss my N64 but I gave it to my little nephew for him to enjoy.

Very cool to hear that. Yes, SSF2 was a very awesome game but I always stuck with Ken. I have all of these and many others including Rainbow Road on my ipod and it's fantastic. I still have my N64 in my room with Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask.
