I love roses. My favorite color is an old fashioned peachy pink with burnt orangish edges. The look aged and dry out fabulously! As far as house plants. I have a favorite flowering one. It is a shamrock that is deep purple or eggplant in color. They re-seed themselves and are perky happy little things! Very easy to care for. I am partial to calla lilies too!

There is so many to pick from, but being someone who loves to work outside in the gardens I would probably pick a Peony. They are very hardy perennials here in the Northeast, they come in many colors and have a wonderful fragrance.

POPPIES in the CA desert in the Spring!~! are simply AMAZING!~!~!
The Double Delight roses that are Highly Polenated for the more polen they have the higher their scent rate is. The White Base and red tipped or the Yellow base and Orange tipped are the two best ones.. There are TWO versions of these roses as well.
You would think you walked into a rome where if only TWO of them are placed, that someone has sprayed Cologne. They are the two most amazing scented roses around.
YUMMY is all I can say and simple Beauty as it blooms open to be about the size of a 50 cent piece is just Gorgeous.

The Double Delight roses that are Highly Polenated for the more polen they have the higher their scent rate is That is one of my favorite roses.. mostly for it's fragrance.... I tried to grow one once but I really don't have great luck with those kind of roses.. I have a fairy rose that does pretty good... and a carpet rose. I planted a knockout rose last fall so I hope it does good this year. I have planted 4 rugosa roses this winter so I am looking forward to them as well!!
Thanks for all the comments!
Pansies are another fav of mine! Peonies have an amazing fragrance too LKB! I love them!
I got some pink dahlias today! I can't wait to get them in the ground! Those suckers grow to 3-4 foot tall!! I'm excited!!
