WINTER STORM WARNING for here posted 2/5/2010 6:26:57 AM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse tagged: weather, straddle, snow, good   StraddleMyNose We got a winter storm warning for today, tonight, and for Saturday. They're saying we're suppose to get 5-7 inches of snow. It started already around 4:35am this morning as a light cold drizzle of rain. It's going to get up around 34 degrees here today, and then drop off into the 20's by night as it changes to snow. They're saying that there could be ice involved as well early on during the transition into snow by late today. I was at Walmart yesterday afternoon and you wouldn't believe the crowds of people. I couldn't find a place to park, and had to park on the other end of the other businesses parking lot. That's how bad it was. Eh, I usually don't mind the long walk as it's refreshing, and great excercise at that. It really hasn't been that packed during the first 3 days of the month, so I'm thinking it was media hype with the "BIG SNOW STORM" coming this way as to why people are trying to get food and supplies in before it hits. 	Great I never keep up with the weather. I am sick of Winter, Snow, Ice and being cold..Not to mention my Electric bill is high(I heat with Electric). I made the mistake of going to Wal-Mart on the 3rd I want spring to get here.

	It started here as snow last night but is just a very cold rain today. Lots of very cold rain. We are under a flash flood watch in low lying areas. Glad I live on a slight hill. Melted all my snow and ice from last week.

	Dawn, throw some of your snow this way. What snow? All we've got on the ground up here is barely enough to cover the grass. Been a disappointing winter for my dogs. Myself, I'm not complaining.
