A bit of blogging inspiration from the inspirational quote of the day site.
It's true, don'tcha think? That if you believe you can or you believe you can't, you're right. Many things have been accomplished by people who should not be able to do them, simply by believing strongly enough in their ability to do so. Well, maybe there was a bit of sweat, blood and tears in the mix, possibly some elbow grease...Most likely a lot of cash time and effort.. but still.. it would never have come to fruition without the thought.. "I can do this."
I've been around the block a time or two now, and I have noticed something. The religion of Can'tism is really quite prevalent. Possibly even more popular than Christainity, Judeaism, HInduism and Muslimism all combined. It's become such a crutch to us. I can't... I simply can't. I can't deal with this.. I can't learn that.. I can't do this.. I can't handle that. . I can't I can't I can't. Well, you are partly right.. but mostly what you are saying is... I won't.
Unless you have a very serious brain defect, there's nothing you can NOT learn if you put enough effort into learning it. There's not much you can NOT do physically if you are willing to work at it. (How does one move a mountain? One shovel full at a time.) There's not much you can NOT handle either... unless you give up and let it consume you.
It's such a simple word, Can't. Well technically it's a complex word as it's two words combined into one... but I digress.. I can't. I just can't.
How easy is it to say to your children? Your spouse, your lovers, your friends, your coworkers, people on the street? I can't.
When are we gonna get real with ourselves and admit.. we can.. we just won't?

I think this i a great blog! I know with a positive attitude and hard work almost anything is possible. When you add determination and tenacity... never give up,,, you will acheive what ever you say you can!
