Well the surgery went great...very minimal scars at all. Actually I had longer recovery time for the gall bladder removal last year. Finally up & about now, divorce going slowly we are all just sitting around waiting for the unemployment checks then we will all be moving out of this house. I am going to be moving in with my partner here soon finally! the kids have said they want to live with there dad ( yes that broke my heart but it's what they say they want) but with the understanding that if they change there mind they can come live with me...Some days are better than others depends on his mood...

Thank you for the update. I am glad that it all went well and is behind you. Stability is now the key for all concerned. I admire your understanding and honoring the wishes of your kids. Many people elect for their children to be a battleground. That does nobody any good, especially the kids, particularly at critical formative ages. As best that you can, focus upon your children with your ex to produce a win/sin scenario to benefit the kids from now on into the future and avoid the issues that you have between one another in the past.

I know that it breaks your heart to have your children say they want to live with their dad............but I am sure they love you very much........how unselfish of you not to make a big deal of them wanting to move in with their dad.......in divorces usually it is the children that suffer the most............a true example of a mother's love you have shown...........

Thanks for the update. I'm glad your recovery is going well. Kudo's to you for putting your kids first. I can only imagine how difficult it is, but, you did the right thing by honoring what they want, and letting them know your door is always open to them. They are lucky to have a good mom like you.
