 I am not a cougar! 
Apparently, there are a lot of guys out there who need to be educated on this matter because there seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding this term. Some guys seem to think that if a lady is in her 30's or 40's and she is dating a guy who is a year or two younger than herself...it automatically makes her a cougar. This is simply not true.
Those misguided souls can refer to the definition listed below. 
Cougar: A woman over 40 who sexually pursues younger men, typically more than eight years her junior.
Listed below is a list of sexual relationship slang terms that I found on Wikipedia. I thought it might be fun to play "What Are You" in Pervia.

Cradle robber or cradle snatcher: A person involved with a much younger individual.
Cub: The younger male who is supposedly going out with an older woman, often used with the term Cougar. The term is also often used in the gay community along with the term "bear". While normally used to refer to a partner under 30, this is not a prerequisite.
Gold digger: Someone (typically a female) who develops a relationship with a much older partner for primarily financial reasons, especially to inherit the partner's wealth upon death (which is expected to come soon).
Jailbait: A sexually attractive female who is below the legal age of consent. This designation connotes enticement to endanger oneself of being prosecuted for statutory rape.
Lolita: A sexually precocious girl who is the object of desire of a significantly older man.
May-December romance: A relationship in which the age differential between the two adults is wide enough to risk social disapproval.
Manther: The male version of a cougar. From the portmanteau of man and panther.
MILF (an acronym of "Mother [or 'Mom'] I'd Like to Fuck"): A sexually desirable older woman, though not necessarily one who has children. The 'M' is replaced by 'G' (for 'Grandmother') in the case of women who are in their mid-50s or older, and/or are actual grandmothers; thus, GILF (or G-MILF). The male counterpart terms are DILF (an acronym of "Dad I'd Like to Fuck")–for Dad–within the gay community and FILF–for Father–in the straight community. Other variations have also been used - 2008 Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin was described as a VPILF or GILF (Governor I'd Like to Fuck), although technically she was also a mother and a grandmother.
Puma: A woman in her late twenties and thirties who dates a younger man (i.e., 20-somethings), often considered to be "cougars-in-training". It also means Cougars whose age disparity is less than 8 years.
Silver fox: An attractive older male. Term commonly used within gay male communities.
Arctic Fox: A post-menopausal woman who pursues younger men.
Sugar baby: The person provided for by a sugar daddy/mommy.
Sugar daddy/mama/mommy: A rich, usually older person who offers money or gifts to a less rich, usually younger person in return for companionship or sexual favors. This differs from prostitution in that the older person is usually the sole financial provider to the younger person. In Japan, there is a loosely similar practice known as enjo kosai.
Toy boy/Boy toy: A much younger boyfriend or husband of an older woman. In male-male relationships, a toy boy (sometimes toy boi) characterizes the one who is (and usually enjoys being) used for sexual gratification.

Good blog. Personally I avoid 'labels' of this kind, in part, due to some of the misconceptions that are displayed here...JMO.
However, if I apply any label to myself it's FREE... I'm free to be anything I want to be anytime I choose. It's liberating, fun and makes me happy!

None of the above really... I m 37 an my man is 33. So I am not old enough to be a cougar yet  and though my man is younger and I call him my young stud the age differance isnt that much. Must be stuck in the middle

Outside of Pervia, the Whigs are an archaic political party. In America, if I recall correctly (which I rarely do), they were associated with the Federalists and opposed the Democratic Republicans. I think they favored a strong central gov't. Either way, the last Whig president (and last Whig candidate) was John Quincy Adams and they haven't existed since the early 1800's. In the UK, they opposed the Tories (that much I know) and favored (I think, but don't know) the Parliament over the crown. The point was rendered moot some time in the 19th century and they vanished.
In Pervia, Dick Slippery has run in multiple "elections" as a whig candidate. He's used the slogan "Vote Whig, bitches!" for quite some time. I recall him running against Canu/Billy in some sort of ad hoc nonsense during the '08 election. Beyond that, anything is before my time, though I suspect the whigs ran against the the Erectivists at some point for something. Either way, whigs are just Dick Slippery and those that like his blogs.
Cougar: A woman over 40 who sexually pursues younger men, typically more than eight years her junior.
The important thing to me in the term cougar is the idea of being on the prowl. I think the term crossed over into the mainstream and as is frequently the case lost all merit in the process. When I first heard it the term was only applicable to the bar scene. It described older women who would go out and aggressively pursue guys who were significantly younger. It was inherently derogatory.
I hate the term Lolita, for a wide variety of reasons, and don't like it when people use it. Just sayin'.
As far as the question goes, I'm too eclectic in my tastes to really describe them in a word.

I too have had the May to December romance.........that in itself proposes more problems than just social out cast.........and in my opinion very rarely works out in the long term..........
but as for the rest........I guess none apply.........just a happy middle age woman who goes with an equally happy middle age man...........I don't see any changes to that role any time in the future...........
