Over in my place! Too many times have I put the roll on in the under position years ago and had a huge wad of TP on the floor when I came back into the bath room! But... it used to give me something to do, winding it back up while on the pot!

They call that a "courtesy point". Supposed to "show" that the bathroom was indeed cleaned. I keep arguing with my supervisor that it's stupid, and that some people might not like the idea that it was touched. Been cleaning hotel rooms going on 16 years and I haven't won the argument yet.

I get it Sugar. I work in a hotel...funny, I after I use the bathroom I repoint the TP...just for courtesy sake....  ...now one more person has touched it...but what the hay!

My bathroom is so small...(How small IS it, Johnny?) that there was no room to hang
the TP dispenser horizontally, so it's bolted to the wall SIDEWAYS! It doesn't matter
WHICH way I put the roll on; EITHER WAY drives me NUTS!! 
When my ex and I were together we put the roll on so it dispensed over the top. One
of my ex's cats noticed it one day, and decided to see what would happen if she
unrolled it. We came home from work to find a pile of toilet paper on the floor, and an
empty roll on the spindle! We mounted the fresh roll so that it dispensed from underneath
from that point forward...

Ok, ok, I guess I'm the odd one around here,
nope I have you beat Griz.........I don't put my TP on the holder............it drives me crazy........i like to just pick it up and pull of what I need.........besides if its on the holder you can bet my cat will be in there unrolling all of it when I am not looking.

Mine just sits on the edge of the tub as some bright person who owned the house before us bolted the tissue holder to a tile wall across from the toilet and since I don't have Inspector Gadget arms could not reach it there. But normally it would be over.

Under.... and my daughter is determined to drive me nuts by putting it over everytime she changes it.  lol
At hotels I always tear off the first fews squares and throw them away. Especially the ones that have the point. Hey, I don't know where their hands have been,, but I know where I don't want to put what they have touched.....

Over, and yeah, I change it round if someone puts it on backwards. But what really makes me crazy is that mad dash in the middle of the night when someone else emptied the roll and didn't replace it. that' annoys me.

I always put it under. The reason is because when I had cats they would unroll it when it was over but not when under. I also had a little niece that would sit there and unroll it when it was over because she would spin it from the top. When it is under in order to unroll it it has to be spun from the bottom.
It is over now because we don't have cats or little kids using the pot plus the WIFE SAYS SO.
