Navels: Do you have an innie or an outie? posted 1/26/2010 6:25:44 PM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse tagged: men, straddle, body, fun, women   StraddleMyNose After reading Dione's interesting blog on Navel lint, she gave me a pretty good blog topic....peoples navels, and whether they have an "innie" or an "outie". I have heard that guys that suffer hernias are usually guys with outies. Not sure if there is a lot of truth in this, but I tend to believe that since my mom had told me this little tidbit years ago, and she's an R.N. (for the last 29 years). She has seen her share of patients with hernia problems over all these years. Anyway, my question is for both the men and the women on here. Do you have an "innie" or an "outie? 	Innie here. There's only one person in my family with an outie. She hated it as a child and had a plastic surgeon turn it into an outie as an adult because she wanted to wear a bikini and not get strange looks. Happy to be of service Straddle!

	As DKW found out. IF you have a outie, go get ckeck for a hernia. He thought he just had a outie, end of statement until the doctor last year told him he was concerned about his hernia,. That Hernia Now that he's had his surgery, he's an innie again.
