You're right, Zena. People should post ALL comments on their blogs. For people who do this they don't deserve people giving their blogs attention. I have had one person yesterday that did this and that person really doesn't have a clue on what that could mean by being selective in what comments they choose to post. For people that see when people are selective with the comments they choose on those blogs I would say ignore those peoples blogs and lets break them of that!

I show ALL comments, I always review them first, but no matter what they say they always go up. Just like the fellow's above Me, his comment on My new blog has definitely been posted. I also allowed a very RUDE and sexist man to leave his crap all over My blogs, asking him 3 times not to continue to do so.. he wouldn't stop so I blocked him, but I still allowed him to post his BS which is there for all to see.
As far as people posting Mine, some do and some don't. One particular fellow who is no longer a member decided not to post My comments but expected Me to post his rude one's on My blogs (which I did!) .. He later retaliated writing blogs about Me for a few days and thank goodness AMD removed them.  Some old dogs never learn.

Now I know the original poster can control what is put on the blog.
I have and will always approve any response. To disallow a persons opinions is nothing short of sensorship. Not to mention plain silly. Why would you not want to have everyone see what someone has written?
I've never seen this approve type system anywhere else. I can only guerss that it keeps the site from having to have moderators watching what we post.

I had Sunny delete three from a bitter troll I angered off line who joined the site just to post these negative things about me and my "Private" life I was at work, and gave her the green light on the phone (oops yes people here talk huh?)

Some people can't deal with the truth. That is why they show only the good comments. One female on here was talking about me being sexist. That is far from the truth. I feel like this, If you write a blog then be prepared to have differing comments. If you can't deal with differing opinions and are that shallow, then why even write anything and expect others to comment. I always post the negative comments as everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I would never be conceited enough to post a blog asking how attractive women find me. I could post a blog on how successful, or not, I am with women but I am not that vain and it would be a short blog (possibly).
I'm not here to slag anyone off or to preen anyones feathers for them, I am here to make friends and have fun and I would like to thank you Zena for welcoming me so openly in the chat room on my first day of becoming a member. Zena - i understand what jump is saying. there are a few bloggers/posters that no matter what is written - they feel compelled to respond to it. and well - they are in here as well. they are the one's that no matter what they write - their little "click" immediately responds and pats them on the back, which in turn causes the others to pat them on the back until they have hijacked the blog. i would say there are about 10 to 15 of them and most (not all) are in here.
LOL - i'm quite sure I'll hear about this...
looked at an individuals profile last night - they have posted almost 110 blogs - about nothing. they are a pompouss ass in my book, but hey - we all have our own opinion - some think this person is god. and well there is another that has them beat by a mile. it not how much they write, it's just - these people are self absorbed. they write about shit that no one (except their little following) wants to read about. everyone here knows who i'm talking about. i dont have to say names. we get the same drvel every day. different title, but its the same. if they would come up with something new or unique it would be different but i really dont think they are capable.
would like for AMD to list what posts (not just forum posts) but blog posts people did in their profile. it would really show what type of person you were. what you write about in your own blog is one thing - what you post in anothers is something entirely different...
what is really sad is - if someone outside this click posts something - they normally get jumped on IF these people dont like it and normally they dont. which in turn deters people from posting.
lastly - i do agree with you though - if your gonna write a blog - post EVERY comment - not just the ones that are positive or the one's you like. set it to auto approve - unless that is - you dont have the "balls" to do it...

Thank you man4funf, as I write everyone and thank them for their comments, I did the same to leoab(even though his was not a positive one, in my eyes anyway, I did thank him for his comment). In all fairness we did exchange emails a few times after that and he did apologize to me for saying what he said. I explained to him as to why I could not post a face pics. He actually turned out to be a very decent gentleman.
I wholeheartedly agree people should post the comments, and accept that they are not always going to get positive feedback. Everyone has differing opinons on things and this is what makes us who we are, and that is a good thing, not a bad thing. If we all agreed on everything what would be the point in posting any comments, cause everyones would be the same! Variety can be good.

I agree that people should allow all reasonable comments... I mean REASONABLE.
If you right a heart felt story from your past and some idiot decides to pick a fight with you or another member, delete it....
HOWEVER....
A person's blog is their garden, you can allow anyone to plant in your garden, or disallow certain people or plants to be sewn... it is your garden.
You still have your own blog to say what is on your mind if you feel that strongly...

I pre-approve comments for one reason and one reason only. I welcome differing opinions. I don't expect people to agree with me.
But what I do expect is respectful dialog using common courtesey. I will not allow comments that are hurtful and derogatory and posted for the soul purpose to bash me or another person's comments.
It's sad that so many can't be trusted to conduct themselves like adults. If they did then I'd certainly change my settings. When I blog now, I state at the beginning of the blog that comments will be pre-approve therefore, those who disapprove won't waste their time reading any further. Works for me and works for them.
