Since I am now kind of doing the wedding thing for a living my ideas have changed, It would probably be outdoors with a back-up rain plan, Colors would be deep jewel tones. I would not want the groom to feel like he fell into a pastel nightmare. My son told me about going to a friend's wedding. The poor guy got roped into wearing a pink tie, vest and flower. Lesson to that is for the guys, if you don't go when she picks out the colors and flowers, you can't complain if your wedding looks like cotton candy. As for music, that would have to be discussed with the poor guy that agreed to marry me.

I like a light lilac color, and definitely outdoors. Music theme? That I would definitely be talking over with my s/o. As for "calling the shots", again, I would rather my s/o and I discuss and agree on everything.

I always said hunter/emerald green (sparkly). Black & white is always nite. You can accent that with almost any other color.
I'd love it to be outside.

My reply has changed since the last time, but I guess one can change their mind so soon.
Anyway, skip a wedding, too expensive. Take it to the courthouse and have a big reception instead. Rent a few tents and set it up on the beach, or rent a beachouse for the weekend and have it double as a honeymoon weekend. Anyway, the food would be catered; either Cuban, Jamaican, soul food/southern or seafood, open bar of course and for tunes- someone's iPod hooked up to a dock with some speakers, no DJ.
Yeah,painfully frugal.

I prefer an outdoor wedding. I would want my SO to help choose the music and the colors would be dependant on the time of year the wedding took place.
