Let's say that someone you didnt know (like me) offered you a 2 week vacation.... 2 weeks of fun.. all you had to do was "show" up... it was all taken care of.. a vacation (you helped plan) for 2 but the other person (someone like me) was one of the 2.. for 2 weeks - they would take you almost anywhere you wanted to go.. eat out at nice resturaunts.. go to clubs... parties... sightseeing... museums... if available - concerts... it would be a 2 week period where there would be almost endless opportunities... there would most definitley be a LOT of going out!!
after the 2 weeks - you would go back to your life and they would go back to theirs..
would you want to go?
what would be your "dream" vacation?

"Been there ...done that"..and it was great great fun. Sort of like the Bernard Slade play "Same time next year".

Dream vacation? Tibet if things ever settle down over there. A vacation like that would be a great break from the real world.

I noticed your profile says you're in Iraq... that doesn't sound like much of a dream vacation...... at all!!
But to answer your question.... it would depend..... there would have to be chat and phone conversations first..... oh and a real picture!

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't consider it, but I wouldn't go unless I knew the person much better. If it's someone I know, like and the timing is right I'd be in a second.
This a vacation... that means I go back from whence I came.
Dream vacation... I have so many, but living on an island in the South Pacific for three months or driving cross country to rivers and kayaking many of them, riding the rails and exploring all of SE Asia.

Kind of a rhetorical question. e.g. "Why me".

well - most would consider it.. that's actually kind of cool..
as far as who this was directed at - pretty much anyone... wasnt saying - it was me (though it could be) wanting to go with anyone in particular... it is a question...
honestly - i will be coming home in march for a 2 week vacation... i will be going out quite a bit.. partying my ass off... blowing some mad cash... and it should be quite interesting.. so - could this be a solicitation? sure.. i guess in a way it could - I've been in iraq for 6 months now and it will be 8 by the time i get back to the states.. i'm a contractor out here.. i work with the US Army.. and it would be nice to spend 2 weeks with someone that knew it would be for 2 weeks that was into it for the fun like i was... BUT was more interested in if anyone would actually consider it and how they answered the question...
