I guess I'm the only NASCAR fan here so far this morning....
High School hockey

I don't watch much sports, and NO professional - players attitudes went in the toilet when the free agency came into being, and paid WAY too much, especially football ... jmo

I avoid most sports. I really don't like cars running in circles.

Way back in my High School day and shortly after I spent many hours under the hood and under the chase of a car at a 1/4 mile strip on the weekends, I was the pit boss for a good friend of mine. I like to still go to the strip and watch those car take the track.

I was a soccer coach for a few years and took a group of High School boys to England in Aug of 2000 to play in a tournament. I still like watching soccer on TV.

I'll watch Ohio State anytime play football, I now watch Bama also. I've been following the Saints because the owner finally got himself turned around and not treatig his draft picks like a slave trader in the old days.

I like the Olympics, certain sports anyway. The Skiing, bobsled, and Skating.

I won't watch boxing. Fisticuffs aren't my thing

I watch Gold when my father was alive. I don't anymore.

Good topic, you get a greenie

I met a songwriter/singer a few years ago who wrote and made semi famous
a song named Nascar...
The lyrics were repetitive..
You take a left and a left and a left...
Until you see a checkered flag

I watch the NFL, though I usually check out the BCS championship game. I also like watching soccer, but I don't tend to follow it. I will follow the world cup.

I try to avoid NASCAR, golf, and most baseball, though I'll watch the Red Sox during the playoffs.

What about sports shows? I like to watch PTI but do so irregular. I also watch the Blitz/whatever the ESPN show with Chris Berman is called when it's not interupting Sportscenter.

On the left coast, the early football games freq. come on too early for me. (at least too early for Sunday), so I end up watching a bit of poker (which for the record doesn't count as a sport), or pool or whatever else ESPN is playing on top of the box scores. Maybe a month ago, they were showing womens pool (I think it was actually snooker, but I wasn't paying enough attention) and I started watching that. They had to hot chicks playing against each other.

I enjoy going to the occasional baseball or hockey game. Watching sports on TV just doesn't do anything for me. I think all the diagrams an annoucements ruin the fun of trying to keep up on what's going on.

It's true, for the most part they're better watching live. Some sports just aren't telegenic at all. But I do enjoy some announcers. For Patriots football, WBCN (local radio station. It actually recently got reformated and I've forgotten where they moved the football coverage to) has the best commentary. I think they stream live over the web, but I haven't checked it out. I also like John Madden, the master of diagrams. I like his commentary, but mostly I like at how he goes on and on about penetration. ("There was such a wide hole that time, and they really got the penetration. Look at this. One. Two. Three. Four. Five guys penetrating." not an exact quote but pretty damn close) Also, during lulls in the game, if you tune him out for a minute, you can play the "What the fuck is he talking about?" game. Usually the answer is food, though.

Sports????

Ohhh okay, I like watching Summer and Winter Olympics and/or my grand daughter's college team, mainly because she is in the band group!

Any other 'sports', I'll watch them on the Amazing Videos type of programs where the mishaps are very entertaining!

What few sports I enjoy—baseball and basketball—I prefer to watch live games. Otherwise I enjoy a wide range of Olympic sports in any season. Although I enjoy catching my own fish I've been known to watch a fishing show every now and then... something about men, boats, rods-n-reels and the water makes me weak in the knees—LOL!
