I don't think I like her. Everyone loves Tom Hanks, do a Tom Hanks thread!  
I told her I was busy with Julia Roberts at the time, but I kept it on the back burner just to surprise her. 
Along with Luna, I've been a huge fan of Tom Hanks since his time on Bosom Buddies. I've always loved the range and style he brings to his flicks. So let's have some fun and share some of our favorite Tom Hanks Movies. There's no limit and I've attached a link just in case you need a bit of help.

Softie: I know Cast Away was long, but I think it's amazing how Hanks carried a good portion of this movie with no else except a soccer ball. Not many actors could do that in my opinion.

Everythng he does! Turner and Hootch...because I love the pups!...I can't watch Castaways because he has to knck his tooth out and I know what it must be like to have an absess on a deserted island...philidelphia because my friend has been diagnosed with HIV since 1986 and is still alive...You've Got Mail because Meg says."I wanted it to be you"...I love that line! Sleepless in Seattle is just cute...all of them for various reasons! On top of it all, he is still married to Rita and happy being in love.

bunny: Yeah, I agree...the tooth scene was super intense, but the movie was just so good. And yes, that definitely was a great line in You've Got Mail. It kinda makes your heart melt doesn't it? Thanks for sharing about your friend...that is so cool.

Skwirl: You and Sugar are the only people who have mentioned Money Trap. It was a good movie but Shelly Long REALLY got on my nerves.

Sugar: Yeah...you gotta love him in A League of Their Own. He really had some great lines in that movie. I agree Sugar...he's one of my favorites too.
Luna: I didn't like Joe vs. the Volcano at first but when I saw it the second time, it kind of grew on me. Splash is one of my favorites because it was one of his very first movies...and I'm such a sentimental sap so the happy ending didn't hurt.

Are you sure he wasn't? I thought he was Frodo, or was that 'The Lord Of The Rinks' where he was one of the Orcs from Mordor.....no that was a hobbit, yeah the hobbit Frodo who starred alongside Peggy Fleming.
