Earlier on Softie's blog, I commented that the few inches of snow we're getting up here isn't bothering me. That was earlier, before our weatherman up here changed his mind and added another inch.

I was enjoying the fact that it was a wimpy winter this year. Doggone snow!!!!! Now I'm going to have to dig out the driveway tomorrow, all the while listening to the dogs in the backyard romping and having fun. The brats!!!!!!! Oh well, maybe when I get done clearing out the driveway, I'll just go into the backyard and toss some snowballs for the dogs. Might as well get some fun out of it, right?

Hey Straddle! You're finally getting your snow. But please....keep it down there in Ohio for the rest of the winter.

It is currently thirty here in north Texas with no precipitation in the forecast. It won't get above freezing until late Saturday afternoon at the soonest, maybe not until Sunday. It will get down to 20 tonight. Add to that a 20/30 MPH north wind with nothing between here and Canada to stop it but a fence that blew down. That makes the wind chill factor Antarctica as far as I am concerned.

I have to push my dogs out the door to get them to take care of business. You can bet that when watching Texas and Alabama here in a bit (go horns!), the ass of yours truly will be parked in front of the fireplace!!

We have 4inches with possibly another 1-2 inches overnight. The wind will increase to bring drifting....especially in the country....which we have a lot of around here. Crawlers are running incessantly along the bottom of the TV....delays 'n closings. Just another winter in Hoosierland.

What have I gotten accomplished today? Oh gaud I was cold so I covered up on the couch and had the bestest longest nap.... Tomorrow's another day to work on....whatever.

we got our first snow of the winter, not much, about 3 or 4 inches. the thing that is making all such a bitch is the cold that has come before and will be here after it. beginning to look like i'll be cooped up in the house for at least the next week. and i hate to just sit for extended periods. so, i'm in the process of trying to find another trucking job. maybe i'll get lucky and get a southwest or south east regional, as long as it it warm.

Yeah, we had another nuisance snow yesterday ... only about 3". Supposed to get above 0 sometime Saturday. Don't know about that with Fridays low supposed to be -20. For us, this will be about normal till Feb.
