I was talking with someone today off here over the phone and we got into some talk about being a night person and day person, and I thought that a birth time may play a factor into whether a person is night person such as myself. I told her that I was born at 12:21am on Feb. 25. My birth weight (which has nothing to do with any of this but throwing it out there anyway) was 8.3 lbs. I would like to know from all of you if you honestly believe my theory about the time of night one is born is more likely to be a night person, and what was your birth time and birth weight?

This is a repost of one of my blogs from Dec. 2006. Enjoy!

It might. I was born at 3:02 am and I am very much the night owl. My son was also born in the evening and is a night person. My other two were born in the morning and are very much day people. Birth weight? I was tiny. 5lbs8oz. Not a preemie just small....and from what I hear I had the loudest voice in the nursery.

I was born 1:04am and I've been hitting the sack about 1:30am for years! I must have taken naps once in a while before I was born 'cause I do that now! Being born in May, probably explains why I hate the cold months too! Man... I've been had!!

I'm not sure of the exact time, but my Mom has always told me I got my name because of being born at dawn. And that was on September 30.

I was born a little after 3 am on Sept 7th. Not sure what my birth weight was though. I like night more then morning. My oldest daughter was born in the morning 10:56 am on Oct 28th, and she is not a morning person. That child will sleep untill 12 pm if I let her. She was only 6lbs 7 oz . Both of my son's were born in the afternoon ( as I was induced with both in the morning ) and they both are early risers. They weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and 6lbs 5oz. Youngest daughter was born on Thanksgiving day in the afternoon as well. She doesn't sleep well. Up alot during the night but get ups early in the morning.

I am a leap year baby, born Feb. 29 at 2:19 AM. I weighed 8lbs. 3 1/2 oz.
My son was born Jan. 25 at 2:18 AM and also weighed 8 lbs. 3 1/2 oz. I was two week overdue, and he was two weeks early (induced).
We are both night owls.
I had also had this idea of a connection between birth time and night/day orientation.

My baby book was lost, and my mom was loopy on painkillers, so I've no idea when. Astrological research gives me a wild guess of sometime between 10pm and midnight, on Friday, Sept. 25th and I was 6lbs and something oz. My mom's first 3 girls were all 6lb babies, my baby sister was 8lbs, I think, lol.

Interesting, thanks.

I was born at dawn, up early, often stay up late, get by on five hours of sleep and always have. I weighed about nine and half pounds.

I was born @ 12:19 a.m. on January 25th and weighed in at 6lbs7oz. I'm definitely a night owl. I can function in the morning, but I need lots of wake-up time and lots of coffee to venture out into the world before 10:00 a.m.

I was born on February 13th at 11:57 p.m. (3 minutes before Valentine's Day). I think I weighed about 7 lbs and some ounces (not exactly sure).

Am I a night person? No. I used to be, but I cannot stay up late when I have to be up at 6 a.m. every day.
