Don't rely just on mail. Go to the forums to see who's real. Read blogs too ... well, at least those that post more than one line. Commercial sex operators won't have time to play on forums nor post half-decent blogs so you should have no trouble using these as a first cut to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Women may complain about all the e-mail they get, but we are the ones stuck writing them. It is frustrating to keep getting replies that are for porn sites.
This is what I do. If the woman has only one picture up and she looks absolutely amazing - I move on. These pictures are touched up and most likely from a porn site.
I then read the womans profile, essay and any posts or blogs. Bentan is right the porn sites will not take the time to do this so it will be brief.
If I am still interested I will take a few minutes and write a brief e-mail to the woman. It saves me and the women a lot of time.
Before doing this I could send out 100 e-mails and get 20 replys and maybe two that wasn't for a porn site. Now if I send out ten e-mails, I will get about 5 replies from real women - no porn sites. It works.
Yes there are real woman on this site. The two who posted before me are great. They actually respond to e-mails and posts.

This is what I have posted at the end of my profile essay...about the type of women I am looking for... (Also, if I need a credit card to see your pictures or go to a web site then I`m not interested)...that message seems to be working real good...I`ve had no problems sence adding that line....Maybe you should try something along that line...anything like that helps keep the vultures away!!!!

I read it and I have to say one thing. I have met people from here in person, many I still communicate with. I'm sorry you have run into sex operators....lol
I do have one thing that bugs me that is similar on here that guys do to me. They leave a one line message or they leave an e-mail. Sometimes they just out right tell you to come to whatever.com and watch them play with themselves. I think it's repulsive. What I hate even worse is when they ask for more pictures and they don't even have any themselves!! Drives me nuts!! Just had to get that out there!!

I just signed up for this site a few days ago and have been bombarded with emails from porno bots. I haven't even posted a photo yet and I was ready to leave this site as I thought that an honest and respectful guy doesn't belong here. It is nice to see a FEW REAL women who have posted here. I still wonder out of all of the members on this site how many are actually honest in their profiles in really wanting what they are asking for???
