Coupons being sent to your cell for fast food?? Wendy's has started a program up North. You sign up with your cell # & they send scannable UPC's to your cell phone for you to show the cashier.

Would this be something your interested in?

Where would you want coupons to besides Wendy's?

No, I would rather print anything up I found online when I was interested. Being bombarded with text messages is not anything I want in my life as it is, let alone advertising. Too much like phone solicitation to me!

Already bombarded with ads on TV, radio and my PC! doing that would just add more crap I don't need! It would end up like subscribing to a magazine- subscribe to one and you end up subscribing to all of them! The article says: "Wendy's new program is an 'opt-in' promotion!" How long before you end up having to 'opt-out', to 'unsubscribe' from each advertiser, flooding your inbox? And who's paying for the cell time used for these messages? I hardly think my carrier is going to let the ads be cost-free, out of the goodness of their heart! A couple of ads, is not a problem- but getting flooded with them, could be an expensive problem IMO! If this is successful, it'll be just like your email 'inbox' full of junk mail everyday! No thanks!!!

If any of you remember before cable actually came into existence, one of their main selling features was: "no commercials"- now look!! Same as the state lotteries- "the money will go to the schools", whom BTW, are still screaming for money!

I wouldnt want just anything sent to my phone but if I signed up for it then its ok. I already have an app on my phone that gives me local sale and coupon info. Always has free codes for the redbox movie rentals which I use all the time.

Just did he literally grabbed me in the middle of typing this comment. Threw me on the bed. Had his way with me and then told me I could go back to bloggin so hot when he does that

Nope...not even a bit entertained by this idea. I really try never to go to fast food places. Besides I think I would find it annoying. Only my close friends and family have my number and texting is something I only like occuring from happy people, not advertisements.
