  Mmmm......Just the thought of a woman in her panties is a HUGE turn on for me, especially if she's wearing silk and satin. Believe it or not, the silk and satin just hugs your nose and face just right while she's straddling you, and the scent she has on her silk and satin panties is a little better than if she wore cotton and lace in my opinion. For me it depends on the situation; for normal everyday it's probably cotton unless I am feeling devilish. Other times it's sheer, decorated, lace and something that comes off quickly....

satin breaks me out, lace makes me itch.. I love nice and yeah they do make sexy, cotton boyshorts. Preferably with covered elastic so that stuff doesn't break me out.. but usually.. I don't bother with em.

Steve, the "cotton rule" is that cotton circulates air better, and it breathes a lot more than silk and satin does to where odor isn't trapped on and inside of the panties. For example, ya know how black absorbs heat? Well, enough said. lol
That's another reason I love women wearing silk panties, more of a smell of them on the panties.

It depends on the season. I wear more silk, lace or satin during the cooler months, and cotton during the warmer months. The exception to this rule (it's my rule Steve...not an official panty rule  ) is when I have a hot date and then I wear whatever makes me feel super sexy.
