Congrat's straddle on the Bengals. As you know the Ravens gave it to the Steelers leaving 28 points on the board, still have a shot for the playoffs. But you're AFC South Division winners and Good luck.

Congratulations, Shawn. It looked a bit dicey at half time. As for the Saints, they were up 17-0. Not much momentum going forward there. We got the Giants' game here and they must feel like Viking's fans. It was a good old fashioned whupping. We also got Ravens/Steelers, good game. Now we have Broncos/Eagles, that should be tasty.
It all makes for a better day for having no running water and shelling out several bucks to get it restored (life happens) due to the water heater blowing out yesterday. No big deal, big expense, yes, but no big deal. I have water reserves so my puppy pals are not thirsty. The water heater will be replaced this evening but a warm shower may not be until tomorrow.

Even though my Saints have clinched the first round bye, I'm still confused as to why they would let Tampa Bay beat them. They should have been able to let the fans play and still won.  
Sigh... i hope they stop partying down on burbon long enough to PLAY in the playoffs.

Yes, I misspoke myself. The Saints are my third favorite team; 1 is 49ers, 2 is who ever the Cowpies are playing, and then the Saints. I love Louisiana people, they are so cool, earthy, and nice.

I don't like the Saint's defense. The offense is explosive but I think the end of season wear and tear is starting to show. They need Minn. to lose for homefield advantage which is going to be crucial for them. Minn. seems just as shaky but expect a win tonight against the bears, and a close game from the Giants despite the Giants erractic play. Saints are going to have a hard time with the Carolina Panthers, and all in all no one in the NFC looks consistent or peaking at the right time. That being said I'm going the other way....*S*
AFC is much tougher to pick. Any of it's six teams should be able to handle the NFC.

Looks like I may have been a bit premature. The Bears are slapping Minnesota all over the field. That's the NFC. When Tampa Bay can beat up on the Saints, and the Bears beat up on Minn. that's one conference I'd call the pony league.

Well the pony league had another upset over a highly regarded NFC team. Bears win in over time beating a porous Minn. secondary.
