I normally don't rant in a comment, but this time I will...
I've very tired of some men believing a woman's success is related to a relationship with a man and/or a lawyer.
In my first marriage I was the primary salary earner even after working to put him through two college degrees. Yes, we divorced and I was traded in for a younger model. Today he remains a secondary financial contributor with his second wife.
My second husband earned a much higher salary, but it wasn't an issue because we had a very positive relationship. Now I'm a widow and flying solo... I'm in the midst of another career path without any assistance. I work for myself and I'm independent.
There are people here whom think I have 'money', but I can tell you it isn't near what they may think... and I earned every cent on my own without sleeping with the boss, being a trophy wife or a gold digger.
