greetins to all and hope all is well with u. tis christmas eve day and i was just informed that instead of 6 people comin for christmas dinner i now have 25 confirmed and may still have about another 6 or so pop in for shits and giggles.
sweety has been kind enough to leave the house as i need no distractions when cookin. two turkeys have been stuffed with apples and oranges and at present baskin in 450 degree sauna. about 6 o clock will remove the lids and allow them to tan to perfection. after they come out the ham is goin for his sauna and tan.
have washed the collards, baked the soon to be twice baked sweet potatoes, after the proper molasses and brown sugar mix has been applied. will heat them up tomorrow just befor the feast.
the mashed potatoes. and the rice dishes are also scheduled for the morrow. and last but not least the spinach casserole will be heated.
the deserts of apple pie, cherry pie, pinapple usside down cake and of course the ice cream.
after all this will someone please call jenny craig for me. i will need some help. of course the help may not be needed, but what the heck sure cannot hurt.
now the above is what i have been doin, sweety has her green bean casserole, sweet potatoe pie and of course potato salad.
it has been fun even if i am at present in the bag. love a sweet drink, and sweety got me a bottle of coconut rum, and mixed it with ice cream. think i may have had more than i should, maybe a four hour nap is callled for .
anywas the big deal is to wish all of you A MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
