Yep, Christmas is only 3 short days away, and I haven't finished my shopping.  I could say I've been putting it off these past few days, but, it would only be a teeny tiny truth. I've been working.    Actually putting in 6 days or work this week.
Now, here's "panic mode". I've got to finish my shopping, and the only day off I've got is...............................THURSDAY!  That means I'll be running like a loon with the other procrastinators getting those last minute deals.. etc. Oh, wait! I don't have to go to the mall. I can shop at my employers gift shop. And it won't cost me a dime. Or a penny. Just my time. Why haven't I stopped by there on my way home from work. Let me tell ya...clean anywhere from 10 to 12 hotel rooms, making up to 21 beds, cleaning 9 to 12 bathrooms, dusting off 80+ pieces of furniture, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, and then, carrying out 2 to 4 heavy bags of garbage at the end of the day...and tell me you're ready to get bumped around, cut in front of, and things grabbed from you by rude people. Yeah, my temperament at the end of the day is usually quite ornery as I'm dead tired and achy. I just want to get home and relax. I'm glad I've got that 25 minute drive home, gives me time to "come down" before I open my door and get "greeted" by 5 dogs who are ready to burst outside.
SO....Thursday, I have no excuse. I have to get down there and get this finished up. I did get it started, now I just have to finish. This upcoming next year, I'm going to try to set aside money from each check all year for Christmas shopping, and try to buy things here and there throughout the year. Sounds like a plan to me.

It's my employers gift shop. They hand out gift certificates to the employees to use on their properties. And, since they have a nice little gift shop....I'll use my certificate there. 
btw..I can use my 35% employee discount on top of that.

Not done here yet either and I don't even want to shop or anythng else right now. To depressed to even think about Christmas. On the bright side, my ass is out of this fucking house after dinner on Christmas and I am not coming back untill Sunday night or Monday morning.

I haven't shopped or even thought about it...I am boycotting xmas.I did get my Mom something. I have to work tommorrow, xmas eve, and all day xmas from 10 am until the lasst table leaves...probably after midnight. When am I supposed to have xmas?so...I decided to just not have one. I did the same at thnksgiving...or should I call it xgiving. am I sad...ya...but, I have no choice.

Hey bunny, I'm working Christmas day too. Then I head home, let the dogs out for a bit. Change out of my uniform, get gifts together, let the dogs in, oh yeah, gotta tell Tazzy to stop chasing the cat. That dog can be a brat sometimes. Then I'll probably grab Sasha and take her with me over to my parents house. My youngest sister likes her..thinks she's "cute'. I always tell her she doesn't have to live with the dog.
btw..speaking of Sasha, her pic finally go approved.

well I do hve my puppy to come home to. That is a good thing...but...I will work 12 or 14 hours. so by the thime I get home Christmas will be over and not one person I am close to will be near. Have a Merry anyway...I will do what I have to do, but I will be glad when it is over.

I started out great, buying some things on clearance last year after the holidays and had intended to be done before November. Somewhere along the line I ran out of steam and ideas and just finished yesterday. I hope I did not forget anyone because I am not going out there now.

I guess I'm one of those weird people that likes to do shopping at the last minute.
Well I did until the last year or so.
