My sister Jill has a friend who has a little boy [5-ish... and let's say his name is Jake] who has asked Santa for some type of action figure from the movie Wall-E. Mom has done some shopping and has found out that the toy in question is either no longer available or incredibly difficult to find. But it's the "only thing in the whole world" that Jake wants. Here's the conversation that ensues:
MOM: ''Jake, what if Santa can't find one of these Wall-E's that you've asked for?"
JAKE: "Santa has all the toys. If he's out of this one, he knows where to find it. He knows where everything is."
MOM: "But Jake, what if he looks everywhere and he just, just, just can't find one?"
JAKE: " Well then maybe Santa just needs to talk to the Lord."

awww....Skwirl honey...you are right, but it happened to us as kids too. Not that it takes the hurt away, but it is kinda how it turns out sometimes. If only Santa were real all the parents in the world would be heroes...at least for a moment!
Oh, by the way I don't have a sister named Jill. This was sent to me by an old boss I had in the past and it is his sister and friends child I posted this about....more to come about Jake in the near future....
