It's the Christmas season

And yep, Christmas is just next week. How did it sneak up so fast? Oh, I know why. I have to finish my Christmas shopping, and I'm procrastinating yet again. Can't help it, I truly, honestly, HATE shopping. Especially at this time of the year where some shoppers are even more rude and stupid than usual. There are more "dummy drivers" on the roads. I swear they are the ones who got lucky on their guess work on the drivers test because some of the stupid stunts I see pulled on the streets are totally ignorant. And the tailgaters, yeah, I wish I still had my Grand Cherokee. It had this nice trailer hitch that could do wonders on the grills/radiators of those who like to tail gate.

Oooops! Got off topic. Actually, I was thinking with it being a "joyous" time, why is it the arguing increases? You want to see a prelude to WWIII? Go over to the vanilla site! I swear, they are meaner over there than anyone here. It's mind boggling that the anger cranks up around this time of year. My sisters and I always swore this was the time of the year our Dad had his "time of the month". Talk about getting ornery. He made a grizzly waking up from hibernation look friendly. Of course, after New Years, he wasn't so ornery.

Well, here's hoping everyone has a happy holiday season. Enjoy the time with loved ones.

Try QVC or HSN or some other home shopping places. Hell you order they deliver to your house. Couldn't be easier.

Gift cards, QVC, or HSN, would be great. If I had the cash for them. But, I'm going to be using the certificate from work to shop in their gift shop this year. Doesn't cost me anything except for the time and the gas to get out there.

I am confused. If you using certificates at the hotel gift shop where you work, can't you just stroll in there at the end of your shift? What am I missing?

I'm not at work today. Also, the company I work for, Zehnders, also has a restaurant and golf course along with the hotel. And they are not located on the same property. And the gift shop I refer to is at the restaurant because it's got a lot more to choose from. True, it's only a 5 minute drive uptown from the hotel, but, after cleaning 8 to 11 rooms, I'm usually dead tired, sore, feet hurt, and when I feel like that, I'm ornery. And, then I'm not really in the mood to deal with being shoved or crowded.

I always say I'm terrible with procrastination.
