Okay, following Megan's coattails with the theme of old tv sitcoms this afternoon. With the three time frames regarding characters during the M*A*S*H years, which time frame did you like to watch best.
1. Was it the earlier years with Hawkeye, Trapper John, Frank Burns, Hotlips, Col. Blake, Radar, and Klinger dressed in womens clothes?
2. Or, was it the time period afterwards with Haweye, B.J. Honeycutt (without the mustache), Frank Burns, Hotlips, Col. Potter, Radar, and of course Klinger still dressed in drag?
3. Or the late years with Haweye, B.J. Honeycutt (with the mustache), Charles Winchester, Hotlips, Col. Potter, no Radar, and Klinger dressed in normal clothing.
Hard to pick between the 3 time frames during the years old that show, so I would have to say i liked all the years the show was on. ***************************************************************** CHEERS
Bonus question
Which 3 time frames of Cheers did you like best?
1. The whole cast along with Diane and Coach in the earlier years (1982-1984)?
2. The whole cast along with Woody and Diane during the mid years (1984-1987)?
3. Or the whole cast along with Rebecca during the late years (1987-1993).
As for me, I think Cheers got better with age, so I'm going to have to say the mid and late years.
Bonus question # 2
Which leading female Cheers star would you rather had Sam married at the end of the Cheers series?
1. Diane
2. rebecca
3. Carla
4. He was better off playing the field
I would have liked it if he had married Diane at the end.

I had to catch these programs as reruns when they were syndicated. I lived overseas which didn't allow for current U.S. TV programs. There was also a time when I didn't even own a TV. Some things don't change... I don't own a TV now!
For Mash and Cheers I enjoyed the mid-years best.

I always thought it was interesting that Col. Blake and Trapper John went off at the same time at the end of the season, and to where the show opened up their new television season later on in the year with a new Col. in Potter and B.J. Honeycutt. Those two earlier characters (Col. Blake and Trapper John) never crossed paths with the two later characters (Col. Potter and B.J. Honeycutt) that ended up taking their places on the show at all.
There was one episode however in the earlier years where Col. Blake and Trapper John were still on the show, and Harry Morgan (who played Col. Potter) appeared on the show as another character as some crazy insane general.

MASH in my opinion was boring as Hell. Probably because it was my dads favorite along with watching the fucking news three times a day which kept the rest of us from watching anything. Watching the same broadcast with nothing changing three times a day pissed me off. I liked all of Cheers & the very first episode I saw was when everyone yelled Norm what's up when he walked in & he said my nipples it's freezing outside.

M.A.S.H. I loved the Col. Potter years period, and it got even more hilarious when Charles came into the picture, so, I'll say I loved 2 and 3 together. Cause Burns and Houlihan were a hoot to watch trying to bust Hawkeye and Trapper/Honneycutt.
Cheers, I liked both Diane and Rebecca, but I loved it when Woody came into the scene. And I would have liked to have seen Sam and Diane married in the end. I liked their romance. It was hilarious. Was kind of bummed when Shelly Long left the show. But Kirstie Alley was great as Rebecca.

M*A*S*H: #2 I loved Klinger and Radar. Frank was way too whiney.
Cheers Bonus: #3 I hated, hated, hated Diane. She got on my last nerve every time.
Cheers Bonus #2: #4 I think Sam was better off single. I always felt that way.
