The Vikings and the giants play the last game of the season.

Denver sucks. However, not as much as they did when Elway played for them.

Denver sucks. However, not as much as they did when Elway played for them.
John Elway played for the Baltimore Colts before being traded to the Denver Broncos. By his second year in the league, Elway set team records for passing attempts, completions and yards. In 1987, he embarked on what is considered to be one of the most clutch performances in NFL history, when he helped guide the Broncos on a 98-yard, game-tying drive in the AFC Championship Game against the Cleveland Browns. The moment is known in National Football League lore as The Drive. Following the AFC Championship Game, Elway and the Broncos lost in Super Bowl XXI to the New York Giants.
After
two
more Super Bowl losses, the Broncos entered a period of decline; however, that would end during the 1997 season, as Elway and Denver won their first Super Bowl title by defeating the Green Bay Packers, 31–24, in Super Bowl XXXII. The Broncos repeated as champions the following season in Super Bowl XXXIII by defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 34–19.
I don't like the Broncos, but John Elway put the Denver Broncos on the map. Let's give some credit here. Elway is a Hall of Famer. Kyle Orton?????

John Elway played for the Baltimore Colts before being traded to the Denver Broncos.
It appears that you lifted most of you comment from
Wikipedia.
But for some unknown reason, you got the part quoted above wrong even though your miscue is not reflected in Wikipedia. In point of fact, he never played for the Colts even though he was taken by them as the first overall pick in the draft. He refused to sign with them and held out so the Colts traded the rights to sign him to Denver
for two players and Denver's number one draft pick the following year.

Wow! Is that two in a row for Oakland?!? Now Cincy doesn't
look as bad for their loss to them..

Yep, WoW, lifted, copied and pasted, and neglected to mention that Elway was drafted by Baltimore and refused to sign. Guilty as charged for 'expediency'.
