hey all,
we now have one more law that the tax payer will have to foot the bill for. jan 1,2010 the law that all felons since 1970 will have to register in the countie that they reside in, re newin that registration one a year and for the rest of thier lives.
now i thought that registerin as a sex offender after over a 30 period of time after the crime was a bitch. looks like i will have a whole lot of friends pretty soon.
i will say that my previous heart break in having to move from my previous address because of the law change and status worked out to be a blessin rather than a curse. i am in a better frame of mind and spirit and have received a lot of support from people who know me and know where i am in spirit as well as mind.
hell i even found out spinach taste pretty good.
any way will throw this question out to any interested to think about.
Has there ever been a law that would prevent someone from committin a crime?
think about that and hell have some fun with it if you care or not.
\as always, take care, have fun and enjoy life

If there were a law that indeed did prevent someone from committing a crime....there wouldn't be a need for prisons and jails. Granted, majority of people are deterred from committing major crimes, but, there are a lot of people who "bend the rules" just a bit. Law states here in Michigan that the speed limit on most of the expressways is 55mph in business districts, and 70mph elsewhere...but yet, majority of the drivers "break" that law by going 5+ mph over the speed limit. Same as in town, some areas are posted at 25mph, and people cruise on at 35 to 40 mph.

55? I can't drive 55. I do 70 in 55's and who knows what in the 70's. I'm just kidding but I am one of those that bend it by at least 5 miles per hour.

The fact that I could end up in a cell with a 'girlfriend' named Bubba, is enough for me to not break any serious laws!

As far as speed limits go, I always do 5 over the limit- except for residential areas! If I were to hit a kid running out into the street, I better be doing 25 or under, even if there was no way I could have avoided it!
