Yep, I just looked out the window and we're getting our first snow of the season. It's not going to stick to the ground, ground is too warm, and temps are 36 right now. But, it's always nice, the first snowfall. My only gripe about snow, besides the cold, is shoveling the driveway, and dealing with dummy drivers who, even though they live in Michigan, seem to forget the most common rule of winter driving...SLOW DOWN. 
Today's snow is just a little shower, not even going to cover the grass. But, it's nice to see it mixed in with the rain. And I'm sure my dogs can't wait for that foot of snow to eventually fall so they can go out and roll around in it like the clowns they are.

I keep peeking out my window anxiously awaiting those first snowflakes. There may have been some and I just keep missing them....I don't have a wide open view of the outside. I think later I'll go to the Eagles where there's lots of windows looking out over the lake and do a little imbibing of...well....I think fuzzy navels today...

Well... I lived in Mobile, AL for seven years in the 80s and I'll tell you what, that's a serious consideration again! I only moved back here at the time because I was laid off then and couldn't find a comparable paying job there, plus family!
The income situation is different, family is pretty much grown up now and the snow lovers can have it! Hopefully, this will be my last full winter here! I either move next year for the south again or leave for the cold months before next winter and beyond!

Hey sugar, I already have an inch here in Muskegon...then again I am supposed to get 2 to 4 in. by sat...so trust me wish i was up by you it's really coming down out there....aargh...i wanna go somewhere warm dang it....dkw all i have to say to you is this & this  & curse you with all of this darn snow rofl...j/k.

We will be getting that up here soon enough. So far, not much here in Saginaw. West of Saginaw could get up to 4 inches...so it's not that far from here.
DKW keeps being a smarty I'm gonna shovel every inch out of my front yard later this season and have it dumped in his front yard.

We've already had our first snow, though happily it did not stay... Mtn's around have it, it's pretty, but you can have all of our's too. Have an hour comute to work, don't want to drive in that nasty stuff..
