Before I go any further, I think it depends on the woman and the rest of her body. Blatantly hanging out on purpose, skanky. Peeking out accidentally on a hot girl to me is sexy 
The reason I bring this up is because a co-worker of mine told me she was at a bar and this 50-something woman blatantly had her thong hanging out of her pants and she was disgusted by it. Yes, sometimes it can be gross, but as I stated above, I think it just depends on the person wearing the thong.....do you guys agree? What are your thoughts?
For instance, this is not appealing to look at  I couldn't find any sexy thong pics, although I didn't look that hard.
I asked my husband this question and he, of course, thinks it is sexy (on the right person - really what guy doesn't?). He also said that women that are hating on women that do that are just jealous because they can't dress like that. I guess I see both sides. I say if you got it flaunt it!

I agree with you. Sadly there are overweight females, some to the point of being morbidly obese, that just can't grasp the idea that the less skin and underwear they show, the better. People don't want to see it.

Butt floss is only attractive in a dark room with muted lights and lots of alcohol, but that's my personal opinion. Now with that said, I do have some thongs, they make them for big girls at Avenue and Lane Bryant and most are pretty comfy and more for waist size than the Size 5/6/7 for the less blessed woman. They ain't as pretty as the one in the pic but for function (hiding VPL) they do ok.

Ok....here's showing my age....
When I was a kid...and I was one once upon a time REALLY....there was no such thing as tampons...it was kotex pads. Along with these pads were these pad straps that looked exactly like these thongs that all women today thinks are so cool.
It's funny how women doesn't mind straps in the crack of their ass as long as it's deemed sexy by the male population. Now fasten a kotex to that same thongy thingy and they would pitch a bitch about wearing it.
To me, thongs serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever other than to cater to making men drool. Comfortable? You gotta be kidding me!

I think its only sexy if you accidently get to see it. We have noticed a lot of waitresses especially young ones around 18 tend to do it on purpose. That pisses both of us off. The last thing I want to see on the person handling my food is their underwear! Instant no tip deal.

I actually have to agree. The first time I wore a thong, it was really odd and uncomfy. Same goes for the g string. I got used to them also. For years that was all I wore to be honest. Yes, because of my ex hubby , work and current hubby. Now, I don't wear them very often. Hubby is always saying he misses when I used to wear them, but to be honest, I can't stand them most of the time. Sometimes I will forget while wearing one that i have one on. I don't show mine off when I wear them unless it is for hubby  .

Yes and no. I'm saying if they blatantly have their undies (thongs or whatever the case may be) sticking out purposely (doesn't matter how big or small they are)....I consider it in poor taste (or the word you hate - skanky). Like Bruce said, some women should just cover up their body - just because it might look good on some doesn't mean it looks good on others and sorry, but society is going to be judging you!
