Dinner is done...and most of us here at the 616 have eaten. The angst-ridden one slept in...I guess he was up late talking to his gf.

I actually cooked this year. Since it was just four of us, it was pretty easy. Turkey, mashed taters, sweet taters, green bean cassarole (with whole green beans), cranberries and rolls. The turkey came out perfect..."Off the chain" was just one compliment I heard.

We had to eat early since both sets of grandparents (aka the In-laws and the Out-laws) are coming over later. The In-laws are coming over for pie...the Out-laws are coming to get the kids for more turkey.

I'm grateful we were able to have a small dinner together. The Wyldechild is spending the day with his dad's family...I miss him but he needs to see them more often. And he'll be here for Christmas. After that, who knows. He's planning on moving to his dad's soon.

For now...I got chocolate and banana cream pies chilling in the fridge...and the in-laws are bringing over pumpkin. Yeah! Now I'm gonna sit back and watch the Lions...it looks like they're actually playing football!

Oh yea...Canu wrote a blog over at myspace...he says ya'll should go read it.
