I was talking with my sweetie tonight for a few hours over the phone when we got on the topic of songs. We started naming every song off that we love over the past 30 years. We then got on the topic about what I may be getting her for Christmas. She wanted to know, but I wasn't going to tell her , so she had a little fun with me and started singing Blondie's "One way or another", that she was going to find me and get me get me get me get me... (the information out of me).
I then started singing a little bit of a song that we talked about earlier which was Police's "Every breath you take" because she had mentioned that that song reminded her of stalking, and that it creeps her out a bit when she hears it. And I then said that Blondie's "One way or another" could be considered somewhat of a stalker song as well. That made us both think about what other songs could be considered a form of stalking, and that creeps people out.
Do any of you have any other songs in mind that reminds you of a form of stalking, or one that just creeps you out a bit when you hear it?

years ago there was a song by cat stevens, something about dancing on this earth for a short time. That would be Oh Very Young, by Cat Stevens. Mr. Stevens seemed to like to deal with mortality issues back in the day...

Great choice with The Police; for the longest time people assumed it was a love song. Blondie is pretty obvious
Alright- I know no one cares for today's music, except top 40 mom rock, but I offer up Thom Yorke's Skip Divided which is pretty creepy and reminds us how easy it is to stalk someone even in the online age.
I just got a number, and location...

Not that I sit around and think of songs that remind me of stalking... but I guess if I had to choose...I would choose "Every Breathe You Take" and "Someones Watching Me". "One Way or Another" is another creepy one as well, but the first 2 creep me out the most.

This song is well known by rock and roll people. It is not about being stalked, it is about being murdered. Twilight Zone Let me talk true and creep you out, I think if I had a choice that in choosing between walking down the street and suffering a massive fatal heart attack and taking a 9mm slug to the head, that the murder is so much more exciting and dramatic and desireable. Am I creeping you out yet? What is the difference? The news coverage. Other then that it is all the same. After all every man has to be a dead guy some times, that's the way it goes. Let's get creepy!!
