Teardrops on Tulips
Pictures and tears
Our souls will cry out
For all her lost years.
She wasn't young
And she wasn't old
But her song wasn't sung;
Her story not told.
A rainbow of memories
We grasp now and then
Still we grieve for
Our Mother; Our Sister, Our Friend.
Never to embrace our Carolyn again.
A beautiful person is lost to us now
But a beautiful angel before God will bow
'Well done, My Good and Faithful Servant;'
Our Father will say
Heaven Embraced An Angel today.
