What the hell? posted 11/19/2009 9:22:28 AM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse   sundance64 I've been trying. Really, really trying to ignore all the bullshit. I've posted some old blogs that I thought were good and would stir up some decent discussion. I've even posted a new blog...written the way I used to write. Ok...so maybe its me. I realize I've been blacklisted on this site. I've been snubbed. Fine. But it's really sad when a so-called troll's blog gets 51 FUCKING COMMENTS...and another gets OVER 70!!! Now granted, more than half of those comments are his own. But then...more than half the blogs are about the fucking troll! Why don't you people just admit that you want trolls on this site? There's a reason I haven't commented on this person's blogs. I don't care. Even if he said something about me...I wouldn't care. I'm not going to bother repeating what others have said over and over ad nauseoum. It obviously doesn't do any good...no one listens. This guy won't go away until he feels like it. None of you will ignore him...you will all feel the need to either post a comment on his blog or post a blog of your own telling him what an ass he is. Whatever. And I'm not going to allow comments here either. I already know what people are going to say. 	It is getting pretty annoying. You are right. Nobody listens. Oh well...whatever...I guess I'll just wade through the shit and might have to take a day off like I did yesterday. I have read ALL of your blogs but have rarely commented. Partly because I just didn't want to get into a discussion about the topics you have chosen (not saying there is anything wrong AT ALL with what you have blogged) and partly because I didn't feel I had anything worthwhile to say, but I do read them.

	I was just venting, pure and simple. Who hasn't? Ok...so maybe its me. I realize I've been blacklisted on this site. I've been snubbed. Fine. Blacklisted? Never. I like your blogs. They make for good discussion. And funny as this will sound, I totally agree with what you are saying here. Yes, I know, I wrote one of "those blogs" myself. I hit a breaking point. But, as I said, you are right. And I'm back to my "happy go lucky" ways and looking forward to more blogs by you, WoW, Sunshine, (who I see is making up for lost time. ), and others. If I promise to not feed the troll..will I be forgiven?

	I'm not laughing at you but what you said about the amount of comments this guy was getting, as opposed to the usual blog someone else wrote! Once, I commented in this guy's blog before they disappeared and that was to say how boring I thought him and his blog was! After that, I decided not to jump into his or his sidekick's blogs! All it would do is to help perpetuate their flame wars that they obviously get their kicks out of! Much easier to stay out of it, than join in on a go nowhere carousel!

	I forgot to change my settings. Oh well... Somnium...this happens about twice a year. These trolls are not new, they are just recycled. Same people, different names. They use the same language that they used last year and the year before. They even have the same pattern. Someone leaves...someone else shows back up...and the trolls come out of the woodwork. Unfortunately there are not enough people around anymore to see the pattern for what it is. And the blog I wrote a couple of weeks ago...asking if anyone wanted Canu to come back? This is why he won't. Not the only reason...but a big one. People here are more interested in drama...and will pay more attention to drama, than to anything else. Oh he obliged. He fed the trolls along with everyone else. Even tried to permanently get rid of them. And got canned from the site for his trouble.

	Roustabout says it best... "One trolls with chum but isn't chummy with trolls." I don't know about being blacklisted or too much about the recent flame wars... it appears my protective bubble is doing it's job very well. What I have read isn't of any interest other than the damage people do to one another when becoming embroiled over something as insignificant as a gnat. Life is too interesting to focus upon the dark side.

	Why don't you people just admit that you want trolls on this site? People here are more interested in drama...and will pay more attention to drama, than to anything else. You hit the nail on the head. When there aren't real trolls, some members here miss them so badly they start going after people who really aren't trolls at all.

	Sooo....maybe blacklisted isn't a good word. Either way...when someone who has been labled a troll garners more attention than any other blog on the page, something is wrong.
