	Yeah..I think a cold freeze helps to zap the bugs..for instance, my dogs dont have fleas in the winter months! lol

	A hard freeze will help reduce the bugs, unfortunately it doesn't eliminate them. Don't believe me? Spend a week in the back country along Superior after a mild winter. Now that's hell on earth! The black flies get so thick that you can't see 10 ft. ahead! I've seen guys break out their rain gear on sunny days with temperatures in the 90's to get relief from the critters. Good times....

	The only reasons I am looking forward to the cold is because I am fed up with all the freaking ladybugs. Purdue research farms can be thanked for them. Years ago they imported them because they eat aphids and other things that harm crops.Fortunately they don't do anything but make a mess (constantly finding a dead body in the house) and annoy (*plink*plink*plink* off the lights and windows...and ceiling when I am trying to sleep).

	I've noticed this year the lady bug problem wasn't so bad. Maybe because it was a cool summer?

	I was told ( the facts may be incorrect chuckle) that the reason we have so many lady bugs is that they were sprayed to kill off the gypsy moths...so I don't necessarily mind them as long as the darn moths stay away...but actually most bugs crawl into something nice & warm & wait til it's not cold anymore you still have to treat them if you see them because guaranteed if it doesn't get too cold to where they die from freezing they will be back....hey guys. :O)

	There's some truth to it. But hard freezes doesn't take care of every single bug. Most if not all do die out however.

	did you know , apparently all ladybugs have claymidia ... betcha think of that next time ones crawling up your arm .
