Everyone (at least the regs) will admit that things are getting kind of negative around here, right? Well, how about we become part of the solution instead of part of the problem?

Thanksgiving is a little over a week away. First thing most of us think of when we think of that day is food, right? Based on Comet's blog the last few days, I'd say most of us do.

Well, let's get back to why this day seems to be originally celebrated. The bounty we have in our lives. The things we are thankful for.

I'm sure we can come up with quite a list.

This is going to be a positive blog. All negative & rude comments will be deleted. It's my blog. I can do that.

among many other things, i am greatful for you freaks that hang out here, always an encouraging word when things are tough, true caring for sick family members, hell ya'll will even listen to one more story about my little dog!

I think if we just ignore the trash that has invaded our little kingdom, he will soon lose interest in us and go somewhere else.

I dont intend to be gloated in to reading or commenting on any more of his silliness!

I am very grateful to the many people on here that expressed genuine, often over concern, over my casually mentioning being under the weather this weekend. People here truly do care. I have even gotten phone calls checking on me!

This shows me that superficial people are just too ignorant to see what is shown and offered by the fine people that we have the privilege of coming to know here. For me, this is what makes the site significant. It is not about dicks and pussies, but rather hearts and souls.

I am grateful for my biz picking up enough to sustain things in tough economic times for my peers and many others. Nobody wants to die an economic death, particularly over the holidays.

I'm grateful for some innate sense I had to go to the emergency room two weeks ago. I debated with myself for more than 2 hours with whether or not I needed to go in. It was extremely fortunate that I did. I was admitted for 6 days for something that I wasn't even aware of going on with me.

I'm going to quit complaining about those little voices in my head telling me what to do.

OMG a positive blog?!?!

What will people say?!

How will they react?!

Will we hear form the people who only respond or comment when there is

anger, hatred and complaining?!

This will be such a change of pace that the server may crash or

someone may report you for disrupting the status quo!

I'm thankful for my friends here on this site and other friends not on this site. I'm grateful for my family. My kids, my husband, my grandparents, my mother. I'm VERY thankful that my mother is being taken care of by a nurse daily and not doing worse. I'm grateful that my husband has a good job, we have a roof over our heads, food on the table and our kids live in a good area and go to good schools. Mostly, I am grateful that I am loved by my kids , husband and other family and that I am still alive and breathing everyday.

So....if I say "rude", or, "something negative" I'll get deleted? Ok, I'll play nice.

What I'm thankful for:
My family, all of my friends, both here in Michigan, and here in Pervia.
My health
My country
My job
My dogs, even when they drive me crazy.
And I'm thankful for the brave men and women in our military who put it all on the line so we can keep on celebrating Thanksgiving Day.

It's pretty simple for me; grateful to have a good job that I love which enables me to continue to care for hubby at home. It's pretty tight at times, more times than not actually, but I manage.

I am also thankful for my mother who had given me so much love it allows me to be overfilled with love to spread around to those who deserve and earn my love.

I am greatful for my loving husband and beautiful children I have been blessed with. My friends in real life and online, especially the friends I have here. I never thought in a million years when I joined this site a few years back that I would meet such great people and I'm hoping someday that I will actually "meet" some of you. I am, of course, very thankful for my wonderful job!

The people in your life and around you are what matters most in life (to me). Like my favorite band says, "It's Not Where But Who You're With That Really Matters"
