I find it interesting that so many new bloggers have shown up and are writing interesting stuff...not just shoutouts or one liners. Interesting because it doesn't seem like these people are new to the site. Like they have been lurking, and have suddenly found good reason to test the waters of blogging.

Bruce asked some good questions the other day about the forums. Over the last two years this site has done a turn around. Alot of the topics that used to be discussed in the forums are now used as a subject in blogs. It used to be that blogs were mostly stories, or day-to-day stuff, or rants...things we wrote about ourselves that we wanted to share with others.

Questions that brought on discussion were brought up in the forums. Jokes were reserved for the forums. Recipes were delegated to the forums.

I'm not saying that what has happened is good or bad. It is what it is. But...this is why I'm not as active on this site anymore. Well...not the only reason...but a big one for me. The other reason are fairly small pretty insignificant.

Miss the good ole days...really! It was a lot of fun in the forums. We followed each other around like groupies. lol. Yep, those were the days.

To all that were involved with me in the past years...PROST TO YOU!

Blogs...never really got into them back then. Kinda seemed like too much of an open door into personal life. But to those that enjoy it...go for it.

I never did the forums...just don't care for them. Yeah the blogs ain't what they use to be but then again....nuttin' is....shit happens, life changes. And since I don't seem to have a life at the moment I ain't got much to write about.

Again I reinterate...too many people got their ears pinned back or ridiculed to the point many of us censor our writing now. I decided not to do that anymore and now I seem to be in a dry spell...gaud I need to change that...I'm so bored I could scream!

Ok boys and girls...I'm going to bed. I don't know if this is a preview of things to come...like me getting back into the swing of things here...we'll see. Right now I'm sick...was waiting for cold meds to kick in and now they are. I'mma go snuggle up to my hubby (who is also sick...big surprise!) and try to get some sleep!

See the sick hubby (when not sick that is) would have been my number one guess as to why you two ain't hangin here much these days! Too busy makin chicken nuggitz to hang 'round these parts!!!!!!...........on the serious side, hope ya'll feel much mo bettah soon! Have a hot toddy and snuggle down!

Hi! I am fairly new here and for a while I did sit back and check the blogs out as I found that it's for the most part the only way to make friends here! It's a good place to get to know people have found that most are really nice!

I have made this comment in another blog about the forum's..They use to be fun. Like Bruce said,we would follow each other around and have fun. I went to one of them the other day and I saw Name calling, bitching ect..That was not called for.

Maybe it was the forum I posted about it changing.

Even though Canu and I differ on politics, I still consider him pretty cool, and a friend. Tell Canu I said hi, and that he's missed here on the site by a lot of us.
